Houses Fund Launched This month sees the launch of the PA Community Households Support Fund. It is increasingly difficult to run the PA houses as we wish and the money that we receive in rent just about covers the cost of utilities and the house therapists. We urgently need to build up a fund to cover the inevitable times when the houses are not full - when someone has moved out and there is no one ready to take up the place - and to cover repairs and refurbishment. One of the houses is very badly in need of re-carpeting for example. I am sure there are many people who believe in what we do and would like to support us. By contributing to the Fund either regularly or by a one off donation they will be making a very real contribution to what we do. Really we would like to open another house. We'd love to hear from anyone who could help us in any way in this regard either by lending us a suitable property for a reasonable time or by helping us raise money to buy one.
