Therapy
How we can help you
Our clinical service can offer help with emotional and psychological problems that people suffer from today.
These might be specific problems such as phobias, eating disorders, race and sexual issues, marital breakdown or more general feelings of anxiety and depression which create a sense of frustration and inertia in a person’s daily life.
Talking problems through in a safe and confidential space can help people gain perspective, insight and understanding.
Fees that reflect your circumstances
At the Philadelphia Association we charge on a sliding scale, depending on individual circumstances, in order to provide accessible and affordable therapy within a swift timescale to the whole community. Fees range from £35 to £55 per 50 minute session.
Finding the right therapist
If you are seeking psychotherapy for yourself or another, please contact the Philadelphia Association office by using the enquiry form, or via email, by telephone or by post, full details on the 'contact us' page.
To begin, you have an initial consultation with a qualified and experienced UKCP therapist. At this consultation you will have the opportunity to discuss the difficulties you are facing, and consider which therapy is right for you. If we think we can help we will suggest one of the following and refer you to a suitable therapist.
-
Individual long- or short-term psychotherapy
-
Group psychotherapy
-
Couple and/or family therapy
The Low Cost Clinic
We have a number of places for individual counselling and psychotherapy at a reduced cost. They are offered by trainee psychotherapists whose clinical work is supervised by a qualified UKCP therapist. The fee is on a sliding scale between £10 and £20 per 50 minute session.
Where to find us
PA therapists work in different parts of London, Cambridge, Bristol and Brighton, and can see people for long-term or short-term work.
